Why you shouldn't take antidepressants for more than 3 months

Sometimes a casual conversation can be predictive. That's what happened to me last week. I was having dinner with a prominent New York psychiatrist. We were talking about the recent tragedy involving that apparent suicide of a pilot who deliberately crashed his plane carrying 150 passengers. The question was why would anybody kill themselves that way? Why not just kill yourself? Why take down so many people with you? My colleague gave a sobering answer.

One of my personal pet peeve's which I think applies to most of us centers around so-called experts and dietary advice or "scientific evidence." There is no one-size-fits-all diet due to normal human development and biological individuality. This simply means that as we age and change our diet will need to change.
